Supporting Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Syracuse.
If you are passionate about entrepreneurship and innovation, this is your website for news, events, education, information, opportunities and programs. Enitiative connects entrepreneurs from the Central New York community and its academic institutions with the information resources needed to be successful. Enitiative features these stories of success by local entrepreneurs.
Enitiative started in 2007 with a $3 million grant from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. Building on the success of the entrepreneurship program at the Martin J. Whitman School of Management, an initiative was started to spread the entrepreneurial spirit across Syracuse University, Cayuga Community College, Le Moyne College, Morrisville State College, Onondaga Community College, the SUNY College of Environmental Sciences and Forestry, and the CNY community. Over 150 campus-community projects have infused entrepreneurship into the CNY community.
